Product Management
In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. We’ve scaled beyond the millions of people using Perplexity every day for research, shopping, investing and curiosity into a new paradigm of using AI to transform knowledge into action. Product Managers at Perplexity work closely with design and engineering, focusing on the product systems and experiences that help more people discover, adopt, and get lasting value from Perplexity. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and writing skills, the ability to envision innovative technology, and a willingness to reimagine work to be more efficient and creative. Ideal candidates combine product intuition with analytical rigor: in the application, please highlight the growth problems, experiments, or loops you are most proud of building. What you’ll do - Own the SMB design partner program end to end: the program where real operators run their business on Computer so we can build and test our agents against real workflows and prove Computer moves revenue metrics for SMBs. - Recruit and onboard design partners: define the partner profile, set up connectors and project context, and design the metrics each engagement should move. - Build and iterate on Computer's first-party skill packs until the output clears the bar an operator would otherwise pay an agency for. - Turn partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap of skill, connector, and capability improvements; write the specs and drive them with the connectors and capabilities teams. - Drive case studies end to end with partnerships, product, and growth marketing: run the engagement, measure results honestly, and package them for paid, organic, and partner channels. - Drive usage expansion for our existing base of SMB operators by driving adoption for relevant capabilities through onboarding, lifecycle and in-product recommendations. Qualifications - 2–4 years of total work experience with a strong academic record. - 2 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or a comparable high-intensity analytical role, followed by some operating experience. - You've run, or worked closely alongside, real marketing workflows: paid social, lifecycle, CRO, or SEO. You know what "great" looks like to an operator. - You already use agents to do real work and are comfortable writing prompts, skills, and building end-to-end automation systems. - Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable running a working relationship with a founder or head of marketing. - Comfortable with SQL. You can pull your own cohorts, validate your own segments, and read a dashboard without waiting on a data analyst. - Operates at high velocity. You ship daily, iterate weekly, and thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments where processes are still being defined. Nice to have - Founder or early employee at a DTC or e-commerce brand, a performance marketing agency, or a marketing technology company. - Direct experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, or similar operator tools. - Experience in a forward-deployed, solutions, or customer-facing product role. OUR MISSION Perplexity's mission is to power curiosity. Curious people are the people who drive change in the world. Driving change is a continuous cycle of learning, building, and integrating. Learn: curious people constantly learn new things by asking more. They question the status quo in their own expertise and they constantly learn outside of it. Research is essential to them and never ending. Build: curious people make and create things, to show the world their new answers to problems no one else ever questioned. They take action on what they've learned. Makers need tools to create their products, their companies, their reality. Integrate: they must interact with the world as it is to drive change and adoption. True leaders do not simply build something and hope. They must have armies of agents and workers who can constantly work in millions of small ways. Repeat. For curious people this is a cycle that never ends.
